Spotlight is a cautious little ninja who prefers to explore from the shadows, often peeking out from a cosy nook with just her eyes visible. Open spaces can feel a little daunting, so she feels safest when she has a quiet place to retreat to and watch the world go by.

She’s a sweet, shy girl who is slow to trust, but once she feels safe, her gentle nature shines through. Spotlight is quiet and calm, enjoys gentle pats, and will happily reward you with a soft purr. She’s also very good at letting you know when she’s had enough attention.

Spotlight has a playful and clever side, too! Her favourite “prey” is anything twitchy and fast-moving, especially lasers and strings. She’s smart enough to have worked out where the laser comes from, though, so instead of simply chasing the dot, she’ll carefully watch your hand to work out where it might appear next!

Spotlight came into foster care with her sister, Whiskers, and the two rely on each other for comfort and confidence. Spotlight often borrows a little bravery from Whiskers, venturing out together while Whiskers takes the lead. They are a lovely little team, and Spotlight would love to find a home where she and her sister can stay together.

She would be happiest with a gentle, patient family who understands that she may need a little time to settle in. Spotlight would also prefer a child playmate who is old enough to understand the importance of being calm and gentle with her.

Spotlight is litter trained and comfortable going into a crate for transport.
