Why adopt a cat?
By adopting from a non-profit organization like 9 Lives Cat Rescue, you are supporting our mission to improve the quality of life for abandoned cats and kittens. Rescue cats make excellent companions as they are often grateful for their new home and show immense appreciation and love.
When you adopt, you are giving them a second chance at life and providing them with a loving forever home. You are also helping to control cat populations and save more lives through our spaying and neutering programmes.
Kittens & Adults
Whether you're looking for the playful energy of a kitten or the settled companionship of an adult cat, we have many furry friends waiting for you. Adults are often overlooked but make wonderful, low-maintenance companions.
Perfect Pairs
Just like humans, cats often form special bonds. Adopting a bonded pair means they always have a friend to play and snuggle with, which helps them feel secure and reduces behavioural issues. Double the love!
Special Needs
Some cats need a little extra care or time to adjust. Our Foster to Adopt programme allows you to care for these special cats with full support from 9 Lives (including vet costs) before finalising the adoption.
