I've been fostering for 9 Lives Cat Rescue for nearly 6 years. In that time, I have fostered many pregnant mumma cats and helped birthed many baby kittens. All of which, have found forever homes. I have foster failed 3 times, meaning I have adopted three cats which I have cared for. What can I say? I love cats! Six years ago I wanted to make a difference and help, rescue and care for the cats of Perth. Being a part of 9lives has changed me and my family, in a way of nurturing and understanding of being a part of one cat's life, weather it's to rehabilitate, feed, around the clock care or just save its life. Bringing another cat or two into our home has taught us to be more compassionate and share our love for them to other people. We have had many tears from the loss of a cats life, to utter joy and laughter that they bring us everyday. I have 4 foster cats with 9lives..Pansy, Molly, Penny and Sly Sly they have been in my care for about four years. They came from a Joondalup Colony, Pansy was pregnant with babies, she was very untouchable, didn't like human contact etc.. To this day, I have gained her trust but still untouchable, she is safe. Sly Sly is a beautiful, lanky boy who requires dental work to help him eat better, he too is safe. Molly the tuxedo girl is lovely, but allows pats on her terms, she also likes to watch me cook, from afar! Penny the tabby girl, is playful and interactive, she enjoys being patted forever if you could. These four cats need their dry kibble everyday, they also eat wet food. At the moment I feed Sly soft kitten food to help him gain more weight and eat more comfortably.
Kathy requires food and litter for her foster cats.
